ReplyDeleteI would like to recommend our pastor to receive this wonderful gift. His name is Gary Welling, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Syracuse.
Pastor is a loving, caring pastor to his congregation. He is not ashamed to preach the full gospel of Christ extending God's invitation for salvation to the lost. He has served for over 26 years as Chaplain at the Justice Center doing Bible studies and preaching the Word at their weekly chapels.
His wife, Peggy, is a wonderful help-meet to Pastor. She also serves in our church and is a faithful worker. For several years she has faithfully taught at 2 CEF after-school Good News Clubs at Van Duyn School and Roberts School. They both love people, want to see them saved and discipled so they can walk faithfully with their Lord. They are gracious and humble servants of the Lord.
I would like to nominate our pastor,Frank Thomas from Berean Calvary Chapel,in Kirkville N.Y.I think he should win because he unashamedly stands on the word of God,He is a true shepard leading us.I remember when we sat at one of his services for the first time, how refreshing it was,and still is to hear God's word preached line upon line, precept upon precept. He isn't concerned with church numbers or programs or whatever is popular. He stands and teaches on God's word alone. We are so Thankful for he and his wife Vi and their true Love for the Lord which they share with our church family each week.I would love to see then blessed by having the portrait package.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to nominate my wife, Dawn Butler. She is the best helpmate and ministry partner ever. How I get from one task to another is a testament to her faithful prayers and support. She has been a great wife and a committed mom and homeschool mom...always involved in our church and currently is teaching a women's Sunday School class, besides singing in choir. She is a credit to the Lord Jesus, to our family and to our church and she deserves every good blessing that comes her way.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to nominate Steven Evans. He is the interim pastor at St Andrews in Syracuse NY and has graciously filled pulpits in various churches for the last couple of years. His wife Alyx homeschools their children, as well as directs many activities at co-op and church. They are a family that continues to show others what trusting in Christ is all about.
