Senior photo season is upon us!

We all know how important Senior photos are.

We want to help a couple of upcoming seniors out. We're giving away two Senior Sessions. One for a lucky fellow and one for a lucky gal. Two seniors will get a free session and 4 ~~two~~ 8x10 prints. That's 90 minutes of camera time wherever they would like their photos taken in Central New York.

All you need to do to be entered into the drawing is tell us why you would be a good ambassador for Oracle On Delhi Studios. Leave your comment right here at the bottom. We'll randomly pick a guy and a gal on June 1st.

We're in such a great mood that spring is here, you can nominate your favorite Senior-to-be. Just leave us a comment below and we'll put their name in the hat for the drawing.

October is Clergy Appreciation Month

We love our pastor. This month is the month to remember and honor him for all that he does. There would be no great pastor without the great lady that stands behind him, his wife.

October 31st we are giving away a family portrait package to one pastor and his family. The pastor either needs to live in Syracuse, NY or Binghamton, NY areas or be willing to travel to there for their portrait session.

The Prize: They will receive a portrait session, one 8x10, four 5x7, and nine wallets. That's a $100 value.

The Rules:

You can nominate any clergy or their wife. leave a comment here why they should win, or on the studio blog when the giveaway is posted.
To make it fair, a candidate's name is only in the hat once.
They have to be local or can travel to us.
You can nominate your wife if you're a pastor.

Leave a comment on the blog why they should win. I'll take all the names and throw them in a hat and pick one out on Oct 31, 2010.

Free visit to the zoo and a contest!

As we enter 2010 and it finally begins to look like winter, you're invited to enter the 5th annual Winter at the Zoo photo contest at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. Amateur photographers are encouraged to enter this year's contest for a chance to win some fantastic prizes. Contest details and rules are available by clicking here.

All photos must be submitted with an entry form. Word document (for those submitting via e-mail) available by clicking here. PDF file (for those submitting via mail) available by clicking here.

The 2010 contest begins January 2 and ends January 31; winners will be announced February 19. Categories include:

Youth (ages 5-12)

Teen (ages 13-18)

Adult (ages 19+)

Best "Winter at the Zoo" photo

Best action shot

Best digitally enhanced photo

Complimentary zoo admission is offered to contest participants who show their camera and present the coupon available here. The contestant must fill out the coupon in its entirety before giving it to the ticket booth attendant. This coupon allows one entrant, with a limit of one entrant per household per day, to enter the zoo free of charge.

What is it Update

I hope that you've enjoyed the contest. This is the last day in a mostly rainy, stormy Kansas City, Mo. I've had very slow internet all week. I'll be back home on Friday and I'll try to compile all the winners from the month tomorrow. If you still want to win then take a look at Day 21, 22, 23, and 24.

You simply enter the contest by commenting. The first person to guess what the picture is wins for the day. If you win the contest for three days out of the month, you will receive a $10 coupon towards a portrait session. Every 3 days you can win a $10 coupon. If you win 20 days, we will give you a Free Portrait Session.
